Wow! I’m back from my annual pilgrimage to Round Top, TX for the great Texas Antiques Week. It was filled with drama (collision w/ a motorcycle, fire ants and WD-40, serious misunderstandings with our shipper, just to name a few) and great finds. My favorites are the fabulous vintage textiles I found: vintage French monogrammed bedding, scrumptiously soft German feed sacks, charming French tea towels, a bolt of pristine French table linen, intricately designed Hungarian table coverings, and hand-worked cotton pillowcases.
Yes, I brought 43.5 lbs. of textiles home in my checked baggage, and another 15-20 lbs. came home via UPS. I may need an intervention. This does qualify as a problem, doesn’t it?
